The visit is part of a "Meet-Connect-Cooperate" program for trade promotion between leading technology companies of Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. The program aims to build mutually beneficial partnerships while also boosting internal resources for the development of the ICT industries in both countries as well as the global ICT market. 

Representatives of CMC Corporation to welcome the delegation included Mr. Ho Thanh Tung - Senior Vice Executive President & CEO of CMC, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Giang - Director of CMC Global responsible for the Korean market. From the Korean delegation, there were executives representing KT Corporation, Sunkyong Telecom (SKT) and LG Uplus (LGU+).

During the meeting, CMC Global officials presented their company's products, services, and technological capabilities as well as their strategic orientation towards the Korean market, with the goal of becoming a flexible partner in the digital transformation process. 

In particular, CMC Global mentioned that the company now employs over 3,000 technology engineers who are prepared to work on projects for businesses and organizations in the Republic of Korea, offering a range of solutions built on contemporary technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, robotic process automation (RPA), etc. The number left a huge impression, given the IT industry has been struggling to find qualified workers in recent years. 

Given the current position of KT Corporation, SKT and LGU+ in the technology sector, the meeting acted as the first step in enhancing cooperation chances for CMC Global to become a top consultant and deployer of digital transformation services in the Korean market.

Representatives from KAIT and Korean companies thanked CMC Global for the warm welcome and shared their thoughts about the event. "Both parties will jointly seek opportunities for more in-depth cooperation in supporting digital transformation and applying advanced Korean solutions to the Vietnamese market", according to a KAIT spokesperson.
