VBU is a member of Vietnam Digital Communications Association, with the duty of connecting organizations and individuals to research, apply, invest and develop policies regarding Blockchain (including state management agencies and the private sector). 

As a partner of the Union, CMC has the opportunity to accompany stakeholders to share knowledge, experience and solutions towards the common goal of effectively developing and applying Blockchain to the digital economy and making contributions to the national digital transformation. 

Launch Ceremony of Vietnam Blockchain Union (VBU)

Mr. Dang Minh Tuan - Chairman of Vietnam Blockchain Union (VBU) said that, the two main tasks of VBU are to provide consultation in policy making and to connect the community of experts, engineers and human resources in the field of Blockchain technology and Blockchain technology application. 

VBU also participates in training, propagating and disseminating knowledge; promoting investment, connecting domestic and foreign market supply and demand to promote start-ups and innovations; evaluating Blockchain technologies, recommending and warning of operational risks of projects or communities with suspicious activities, providing career consultation and connection in the field of Blockchain.

At the launch ceremony, Dr. Dang Minh Tuan affirmed: "For Vietnam to become a powerful country in terms of technology, looking for the technologies that can help our country break through is an issue of concern to all of us. Blockchain is the newest and most disruptive technology. Vietnam is proud to have its "unicorns" in this field.  Our country is also at the top of a number of sectors in the Blockchain market, with gaming companies owning 200 products and having market capitalization of 9.7 billion USD. Looking back on the journey of Vietnamese rice from the passing of Resolution No.10 to date, our country has become a leading rice exporter. It can be seen that, thanks to the right policy, we have made a breakthrough.

At CMC Institute of Science and Technology, Dr. Dang Minh Tuan and his colleagues also conduct a lot of research on Blockchain technology, especially Blockchain applications for tracebility and qualification management in agriculture and education sectors. These research works will positively contribute to the operation of VBU.
