At the seminar of "Safe cloud platforms for e-Government", Mr. Dang Tung Son - Deputy General Director/Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of CMC Telecom discussed the challenges in providing Cloud computing services of many Vietnamese enterprises today. He said: "There are 3 challenges that domestic cloud providers are facing today. The first is the strict requirements for information security. The second is the problem of localization to meet requirements of quality, customer experience and especially information security. The last one is the matter of human resources."

However, he emphasized two factors that have driven changes in the Vietnamese market and supported domestic cloud computing service providers to grow. Those are the thorough direction from the Government to Ministry of Information and Communication and related departments and agencies, and the continuous changes in policies and decisions on national digital transformation and e-Government strategy in Document 1145/BTTTT-CATTT. Those factor have contributed to solving the challenges faced by domestic cloud providers.
