On 21 February 2019, CMC Telecom introduced the CMC Multi-Cloud Platform in Vietnam Cloud & Datacenter Convention held in Hanoi as a product to meet  the needs of businesses during the process of digital transformation. Multi-Cloud Platform of CMC Telecom is an open platform which is able to connect to other cloud computing providers. Customers can experience cloud services from major companies in the world with an only admin page.

CMC Multi-Cloud Platform uses technology based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), which is also the advanced technology used by IBM and Google. The platform includes administration portal, making it easy for businesses to manage, charge and integrate multi-cloud computing services from service providers such as IBM, Amazon Web Services, Google, Microsoft, CMC Cloud on the platform of CMC Telecom.

In the report of Right Scale (USA) about the world’s cloud market in 2018, 95% of businesses are using the cloud and 81% of businesses use multi-cloud service. According to Mr. Le Anh Vu, Director of Value Added Business Center of CMC Telecom, “Multi-Cloud model helps businesses to ensure that services are not interrupted if problems occur and to save costs because it can be used on many platforms for many business purposes, and it also inherits the utilities given by the providers."

Unlike other multi-cloud platforms in the world which are purely software-based, CMC Telecom has the advantage of being a telecommunications provider with infrastructure directly connected to the Data Center of major cloud providers. In Vietnam, CMC Telecom is currently the only entity to provide direct data connection to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google and IBM. CMC Telecom can flexibly provide services directly to Data Center of customers with packages from 5Mbps to 10Gbps.  CMC Telecom owns 3 neutral Data Center meeting Tier 3 standard and is the only company with PCI DSS security certificate in Vietnam. For small businesses without data centers, it is still possible to situate data centers in Vietnam on the infrastructure of CMC Telecom with secure transmission lines.

CMC Telecom is currently a Gold Partner in providing cloud computing services of Microsoft in Vietnam. CMC Telecom is also the only chosen partner of IBM to deploy IBM Cloud Private – a service administration portal in Vietnam. Through CMC Multi-Cloud platform, CMC Telecom can easily and quickly deploy solutions for Cloud consumption demand, optimizing cost and system management for customers.

Using CMC Multi-Cloud platform brings clear benefits to businesses, especially those in the fields of Services, Banking, Finance, Insurance, multinational enterprises, etc. Instead of using each service separately with many administration software, customers will save cost, resources and time when using an open platform like CMC Multi-Cloud with the ability to expand the system in a proactive and fast way.

In 2017-2018, CMC Telecom has launched two CMC Private Cloud services, which are Elastic Compute and Elastic GPU, as well as a series of AI and Big data applications running on CMC Cloud platform, suitable for many market segments with different needs.

Vietnam Cloud & Datacenter Convention 2019 took place for the first time on 21 February 2019 at InterContinental Hotel, Landmark 72 Building, Hanoi to promote the development of the digital economy in Vietnam. The event is the second stop in the series of Cloud & Datacenter Technology Conference in Southeast Asia, following the success of the latest Conference in Malaysia in January 2018. It attracted 1,000 guests and over 300 IT and Data Center experts who are working in the fields of Telecommunications - IT, Finance - Banking, Services, Health, etc. in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
