Students' joy to receive tablet computers from "Connection and Computers for Students" program

Dao Dieu Huyen, a student of Class 6C, Bach Ha Middle School in Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi receives a tablet computer from the "Connection and Computers for Students" program held by Hanoi Department of Education and Training on 15 September 2021.

Dao Dieu Huyen grew up seeing her paralyzed father spending his life in a wheelchair and having to rely on others in all activities. Her mother, meanwhile, left her behind when she was less than 4 years old. In 2020, her father unfortunately passed away, and she has been bringing up by her grandmother since then.

Huyen's grandmother often gets sick, and their only source of income is the garden to grow vegetables and pomelo. During the pandemic, Huyen has to study online at home. However, due to her difficult circumstances, she cannot afford to buy a computer. For months, Huyen has been cared for by her teachers and friends, who help her temporarily overcome the difficulties to learn.

Huyen is touched by the attention of the leaders of the Department, the union of Hanoi education sector and the sponsors like CMC who has given her a tablet computer to study online.

"For me, this is a great and meaningful gift that I never dared to dream of. From now on, I can join my classmates in studying online. I would like to express my thank to the leaders, teachers and sponsors for helping disadvantaged students like me," Huyen said.

On 15 September, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung - General Director, representative of CMC Corporation presented 3,600 tablet computers with worth of 2,500,000 VND/each to the "Connection and Computers for Students" program in response to the call of the Prime Minister.
